Adventures in Sewing

My friend from work taught me how to sew a few weeks ago. We sewed CeCe's crib bedskirt and a valance. Yesterday I started working on the two panels that will frame her built-in closet/changing area. One panel down, one to go. I will show pics of the final work at the end. I also came across some leftover fabric from when we re-upholstered our kitchen chairs. So I made some kitchen curtains with it to match. I want a 'Mexican' kitchen. I have the table, buffet, chairs and curtains...just not the right color of walls, floor or cabinets. A work in progress - just like my sewing skills.
